Breakfast is included in the General Guidelines for Balanced Nutrition delivered by the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2014. This is due to the fact that many Indonesians have not accustomed breakfast. Even someone who doesn't do breakfast will have a negative impact on health and productivity, for example reducing physical activity and causing obesity in adolescents and adults. The learning process or activity requires high attention to the object being studied. Physical condition is an important factor in determining the level of student attention which in turn will have an impact on achieving the objectives of teaching and learning activities. The physical condition is usually determined by the nutrients absorbed and processed into energy. This also applies to a student who needs energy to optimize brain performance by doing breakfast. Some activities of a student that requires a lot of energy are the process of learning in class, the implementation of practicum to extracurricular activities outside the classroom. Breakfast is important because through breakfast can provide daily nutrients that are needed by the body, one of the dominant forms of nutrition that is provided at breakfast is the provision of carbohydrates and protein, then these carbohydrates will be retained into glucose for the fulfillment of daily energy.
