Abstract

The research purpose is to find out how conflict between individual and group, also employee work achievement at PT. Perhutani Malang. Beside, research purpose is to find out whether conflict among individual and group has significant influence to individual conflict and among group has significant influence to employee work achievement and to find out conflict variable which has dominant influence to employee achievement at PT. Perhutani Malang. For the company, there hoped it would be consideration for organization in increasing employee work achievement to conflict management application. Analytical tool used in this research was scale rate analysis, multiple linear regression and F test and t test. Analytical tool could be explained that conflict among individual with average score of scale rate 165.3 and among group with average scale score 167.3 at PT Perhutani Malang included into high category. Employee work achievement at PT. Perhutani Malang could be included into high category, proven by average scale score rate 179.0. Conflict among individuals and group has significant influence to employee achievement at PT. Perhutani Malang. It could be proven by higher Fcount than Ftable (35,384 > 3,168). Conflict among individuals had dominant influence to employee work achievement at PT. Perhutani Malang. The conclusion could be proven by regression coefficient value for individual conflict variable, that was 0.510 higher than group conflict, which was 0.319. Some suggestions for this research was, there hoped the management to do approach to conflicted parties by giving warning to resolve the conflict when the conflict out of line. If the step wasn’t able to solve the conflict, there hoped that the leader act in strict way. Management should be able to create harmonic work environment so that there would be good cooperation among employees in the company.
