Abstract

The activities of workers who work manually at the Pabrik Tahu Duta Malang are at risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders, namely injury to the muscles, nerves, tendons, bones, bone joints caused by work activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk level of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) due to work posture while working at screening stations and cutting and provide possible improvement recommendations based on the OWAS method Data processing was done by collecting data using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, then analyzed by OWAS method assessment and then the facility improvements were designed with CATIA software simulation. The results of processing data show that each element of screening and immersion activity knows there are some who have a high level of risk and are very dangerous to the musculoskeletal system and need repairs, and improvements are needed in the future.
