Abstract

The importance of literacy in education as an effort to build a generation of nations with a wide insight of sublime character. Thus the government through Kemendikbud issued Permendikbud No. 23 year 2015 about the growth of ethics manifested through the school Literacy Movement (GLS) starting from elementary school level (SD). This type of research is a qualitative descriptive. This research will describe the analysis of the school literacy Movement at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek. This study was intended to answer the problem of how the school literacy movement at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek, what are the supporting and blocking factors of implementing the school literacy Movement at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek, and how the efforts Address the problem of implementing the school Literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Implementation of school literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek has been running by adhering to 3 stages of habituation, development, and learning. (2) Supporting factors Implementing school literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek: The active role of school citizens, a fairly complete collection of library books, assistance from other parties, conducive school environment, and support from parents Students. Meanwhile, the avoidance factor, among others: there is no reading space in the school environment, a less complete enrichment book, fewer students ' motivation and the absence of a call to action from posters on the school wall (3) solutions for Overcome the problem of school literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN 1 Watulimo Trenggalek, among others: working on the creation of reading rooms, working on the completeness of enrichment books in the reading corner, and planting motivation to students.
