Abstract

Empathy is an affective response that stems from an arrest or emotional state or other condition, and which is similar to the feelings of others. Empathy as the ability to put oneself in another person's position and be able to live up to that other person's position. Empathy occurs when someone loses their identity. This theme becomes interesting to study, when the subject used is ABK students (Children with Special Needs) who attend private schools, with classes mixed with regular students (Non-ABK). This study uses a quantitative experimental research approach. The research design used in this study is Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, which is a design in which the experimental group and control groups are compared, and selected without random. Two groups will be given a pretest and then given a treatment and the last will be given a posttest. In the independent Sample T-test, it is known that the t value in this analysis is 0.426 with p> 0.05, which means there is no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group.
