The teaching of English for Kindergarten students is different from that for high school students. The main purpose of teaching and learning of English for young learners is to introduce the students about English in their early age of learning English in order to make them familiar with English. This study was conducted to investigate the objectives of English skills, the use of materials, the use of teaching techniques, the use of media, and the evaluation techniques in teaching English at Kindergarten Wahid Hasyim Malang. The subject of this study was one English teacher who is teaching sixty students divided into two classes, class A and class B. Meanwhile, this research was conducted using qualitative research design, so that the instruments to be used were interview, observation, and document analysis. The findings of this research were (1) the objectives of English skills (speaking, listening, writing, and reading) are to introduce and to practice the students to speak simple utterances and English vocabularies around their environment, to introduce and to practice the students to listen some English vocabularies around their environment, to make the students able to write some English vocabularies around their environment, to make the students able to comprehend the simple texts and dialogues; (2) the main material to teach was taken from I Can Speak English written by Afrin Aulia which covered the four English skills (speaking, listening, writing, and reading); (3) the teaching techniques used by the teacher were repetition, imitating or giving oral instructions, role play work, question & answer, singing songs, listening and doing activities, playing games, writing on the blackboard, rearranging the words, filling the blanks, matching, straight copying, and reading dialogues or short story; (4) the media for teaching English were handbook I Can Speak English, flashcards, real objects, puzzles, song creations, blackboard, and drawing book; and (5) the evaluation conducted every day after the topics are given. Written test are divided into two parts, formative and summative evaluation with various models. Indeed, to develop the teaching and learning English at Wahid Hasyim Kindergarten, the school can provide an additional teacher to help another teacher who is teaching in front of the class. The teacher sometimes can bring the students to have an outdoor class in order to show real examples about today’s topic and the teacher can add some additional sources, such as magazines, comic, story book, etc.
