Abstract

vlog is a video containing opinions, stories or daily activities that are usually written on a blog. Vlogs initially became a means to express themselves, opinions and share experiences (experience) to the public. However, over time some vloggers have expressed themselves to be too free and negatively inclined so that there is a trend for the use of abusive words or insults in the video and hedonic and free dating trends. The rise of vlogs is a regular spectacle of young people among high school students. This research is to find out the influence and how big the influence of vlog shows on YouTube on the morality of kharimah. The approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of causal correlation research, the format used is the explanatory format using a survey approach, data obtained from the Questionnaire with Random Sampling Technique using a Likert Scale for instrument measurement. The results found that there was a significant correlation between the influence of vlog shows on YouTube on the morality of students, the results showed that 15% of students were interested in daily vlog content, 68.75% of students were interested in hedonic & free dating content, and those who were interested in gross word content were 16.25%. Data obtained through contingency coefficient (C), with a price of 10.890> χ2 table 9.488; interpretation of price C which has been changed into φ phi price The results of the consultation show that φ> r table = 0.369> 0.227. The degree of correlation between the two variables is low.
