Abstract

The research aims to analyse and compare the profitability of Sharia banks in ASEAN and GCC. This type of research is inferential quantitative. The data required is secondary data from the financial reporting data of each sharia bank in ASEAN and GCC in 2013-2017. The data analysis technique is a data panel regression analysis technique. For GCC Sharia banks that have the largest ROA level is Kuwait Finance House is 3.58%. As for sharia banks that have the smallest ROA level is Bank HSBC Amanah is 0.88%. Overall for the ROA level there are several sharia banks that can be classified in a category of banks that include success in generating profits. At α = 0.05 obtained F-table value 2.58 and result F-count obtained value of 9.517830, so the value of F-count (9.517830) ≥ F-table (2.58) then it can be concluded that H0 rejected and H1 accepted, which means that the free variables i.e. CAR, FDR, NPF, inflation And the flowering tribes simultaneously and jointly against the bound variables, namely ROA Bank Syariah in ASEAN and Gulf Cooperation Counsil (GCC) in 2013-2017.
