Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Example non Example technique on the triangle and quadrilateral material in junior high school and want to know the extent of students' understanding of the concepts in the triangle and quadrilateral after participating in learning by using the Example non Example technique. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained from teachers and students while for the data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Researchers using instruments such as observation sheet and test sheet. The results showed that the effectiveness of learning using the Example non Example technique was categorized well with the level of teacher activity 84.37% and the level of student activity 84.58%. Furthermore, for understanding the concepts of students conducted at the last meeting through the test can be categorized both with a percentage of 75% and completeness of student learning outcomes categorized well with a percentage of 82,60%.
