Abstract

Indigo people are people who have the ability and the special advantages that can see an odd phenomenon, and can predict events that will occur and their strengths are usually called sixth sense. So they could feel that he was different from the environment and causes discomfort to the individual self with the result that they are unable to accept the existence of himself. However, there is also a successful indigo accept him after passing through various stages in the process of receiving long and eventually it can have a sense of satisfaction with oneself, and the qualities of his own talents, as well as recognition of their own limitations. It is also not free from various factors that influence that person had to accept him. Therefore, doing research is to determine the processes and factors that affect self-acceptance in adult indigo. This research is a qualitative research case study. Research subjects were two adult indigo who has managed to receive her. This research was conducted in the city of Banjarmasin using interview methods, and psychological tests to determine IQ subjects. Validity of using triangulation of data sources. The results of this research is known that the process of self-acceptance in both subjects has some similarities that made the step of rejecting excess phases that are owned, anger to yourself so that impact on others, depression stage, stage bargaining with God, and finally succeeded in doing self-acceptance. However, there is a stage that is not subject II through the stages of depression as a subject through I. The factors affecting self-acceptance is subject to both understand themselves by instilling positive thinking will itself, which supports social behavior, identification of people who are able to adjust themselves well and good upbringing days of childhood.
