Abstract
methods is PCA (Principal Components Analysis) and LDA (Linear Discriminant Analysis). The selection feature extraction methods are appropriate and efficient is crucial the success of the introduction of the system as a whole. The system was built using the PC platform with writing a computer program using Matlab 7.1. Tested the system using a variety of image database taken using a laptop webcam that consists of 5 people with each 1.
