Abstract
Title: "An Analysis of Financial Statements On Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Market". The purposes of this study were to find out the performance of Food and Beverage companies registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange Market and which companies performed better. Performance measurement techniques used financial ratio analysis, which consists of activity and profitability ratios. Food and Beverage companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange Market taken as study objects. Based on the results of financial ratio analysis of Food and Beverage companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange market by using activity and profitability ratios, several companies of Food and Beverage considered good. The company which possessed good financial performance during the five years period from 2005 to 2009 was PT. Fast Food Indonesia Tbk. because the value of the company ratio was already good. Hence, management indicated that the company has effective and efficient operation.
