Abstract

Loyalty is an important element to owe by an employee while working in organization or company. In other words, employee who owed loyalty would have better human resource quality. Basically employee in a company has important position and role in supporting the businesss activities to reach the company purpose, whether long term or short term. The company also aware that every employee is always want the best and satisfy themselves, in effort to reach the purpose, there needed management support or support from the leader.Management support is a support from management, where all managers gave motivation, doing clear communication, help and support for the subordinate. Realizing the condition, there is a duty for the company to fulfill the employee expectation to have responsibility to the company. So there needed a work loyalty for the company. The research aimed to find out the relation between management support and work loyalty of PT. Telkom Kediri employee. Research frame was non­experiment. Population in this research was all employee of PT. TELKOM Kediri consisted of 32 people, so that sampling technique used was total sampling. Data analysis method used was correlation product moment. According to data analysis which was done, there found that correlation coefficient (r) was 0,854 with (p = 0,000 < 0,05) it means there was positive and significant relation between management support and employee loyalty in PT. Telkom Kediri. There also found that low management support will cause lower employee loyalty. The calculation value r2 = 0,729. It showed the effective contribution of management support to work loyalty of PT. Telkom Kediri employee for 72.9%, while rest of them 27,1% influenced by the other un­researched factors.
