Abstract

This research executed in Sub-Province of Bulungan East Kalimantan More Precisely in District Of Foreland of East Palas on July 1st - July 28th 2009. Target of this research is to know plant composition of mangrove, to know pattern of zonasi plant of mangrove, and to know relation between distribution of mangrove with physics parameter and chemistry irrigate in District Of Foreland of East Palas. Research method the used is method of survey that is performing data collecting, and analysis of interprestation data with aim to make describtion of concerning condition that happened research moment. Result of research show types of mangrove obtained in District Of Foreland of East Palas is five ( 5) set of relatives which consist of six ( 6) species, consist of type of Avecennia alba of set of relatives of Verbenaceae, type of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza of set of relatives of Rhizophoraceae, type of Sonneratia casealaris of set of relatives of Sonneratiaceae, type of Nypa fruticans, and type of Oncospema tigillarium of set of relatives of Pamae. Conclusion of this research is Composition or species type of plant found mangrove at Station of I ( tourism area ) is type of Alba Avicennia, Sonneratia Caseolaris, Bruguiera Gymnorrhiza, Nypa Fruticans, and from type of Oncospema tigillarium. Plant species of mangrove at station of II that is type of Avicennia alba, Caseolaris Sonneratia, Rhizophora Apiculata, Bruguiera Gymnorrhiza, Nypa Fruticans, and Oncospema tigillarium. Plant species of mangrove at station of III is type of Avicennia alba, Apiculata Rhizophora, Nypa Fruticans, and type of Oncospema tigillarium. For the pattern of zonasi obtained by result for the station of I, with sand substrat have clay to consist of type of Avicennia alba, Caseolaris Sonneratia, Nypa Fruticans and with hard clay substrat sand to consist of type of Avicennia alba, Caseolaris Sonneratia, Bruguiera Gymnorrhiza, Nypa Fruticans, and type of Oncospema tigillarium. Station of II with hard clay sand substrat consist of type of Avicennia alba, Caseolaris Sonneratia, Rhizophora Apiculata, Nypa Fruticans, Bruguiera Gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora Apiculata, Nypa Fruticans, and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, at dusty hard substrat consist of type of Rhizophora apiculata, Fruticans Nypa, and Oncospema tigillarium. Station of III with dusty hard clay sand substrat to consist of type of Avicennia alba, Apiculata Rhizophora, Nypa Fruticans, Rhizophora Apiculata, Avicennia Alba, Nypa Fruticans, and type of Oncospema tigillarium. While relation between distribution of mangrove with physics parameter and chemistry have good relation at station of I and of III, while at station of II especially chemical parameter, that is pH irrigate very sour, because of station situation of II nearby settlement, plantation and port, so that menace the continuity of life of mangrove.
