Abstract
Cases of abuse of narcotics and psychotropic drugs used by members Polresta Malang in 2005 had undergone a general judicial process and obtain a decision which has permanent legal power with a minimum jail sentence of 3 (three) months, then the members can be recommended by members of the police ethics commission to Commission implemented the Police Code of Conduct. The author took the formulation problem: 1. How the forms of violation of professional ethics police? 2. How does the handling of criminal procedure conducted by members of the police in general in Polresta Malang in particular? The author uses the method Juridical Sociological approaches, the author chose research sites in Malang Polresta with data collection techniques and observation of interviews. For authors data processing using a qualitative descriptive. From the results of research, Based data for the year 2009 there were several code violations that occurred in Malang Polreta of 17 cases. of members of police of committing criminal offenses and have been through this process and obtain a general court decision which has permanent legal power with a minimum punishment of more than 3 (three) months, then the members can be recommended to implement the Code Commission Police. Aberrant behavior that occurs in self-policing should be investigated and dealt with, so that will reduce the actions that are inconsistent with the Police Ethics.
