Abstract
Background: Stroke is a syndrome that is caused due to the distruption flow of blood in one of the brain that can lead to distruption of functional brain and lead to a descrease in activity daily living (ADL). One of interventions that can be given is by combining PNF and mirror therapy that can help increase the activity daily living (ADL) of patient. The Aim: This study aimed to determine the combination effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and mirror therapy to increased the activity daily living (ADL) of upper extremity in stroke patients hemiparese. Methods: This study design using quantitative research design with one group pretest- posttest design. Respondents in this study as many as 12 people by using purposive sampling techniques and the use of measuring instruments activity daily living (ADL) in the form of wolf motor function test (WMFT). Results: Paired t-test results p<0,05 obtained significance value of 0,015. So it can be concluded that H1 was accepted. Conclusion: There the combination effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and mirror therapy to increased the activity daily living (ADL) of upper extremity in stroke patients hemiparese.
