Abstract

Al- Islam Kemuhammadiyahan Education or what is called AIK as a value education praxis at Muhammadiyah Higher Education (PTM). AIK is one of the characteristics of PTM as stipulated in the Muhammadiyah Central Management Guidelines Number 02 / PEDI / I.0 / B / 2012 concerning Muhammadiyah Universities. In Article 9 paragraph (2) there are provisions as follows: "Muhammadiyah Universities must have the characteristics of the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan curriculum which is further regulated by the provisions of the Higher Education Council." AIK since the first semester. AIK can be said to be a kind of Islamic religious education (PAI) in public universities that must be followed by students who are Muslim. UMM was made one of the considerations by the Muhammadiyah Central Board of Higher Education in issuing policies related to the development of AIK at the national level. Third, the AIK model at UMM was used as a reference by several PTMs, especially those in eastern Indonesia and developing PTM. This study aims to determine how students' perceptions about AIK learning and its contribution in forming a good spirituality for students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Malang in May to August 2019. The research method used was quantitative research. From the results of research and data analysis that researchers have done to students using the Scale Range, shows a positive response about AIK learning. Positive response in question is about three aspects, namely about the learning method, learning system, and learning strategies
