Abstract

Habib Albara; Student number: 201510570311035; Analysis The Difficulties of Nahwu Learning for Arabic Education Department Student 2015 at Muhammadiyah Malang University; thesis: Department of Arabic Education; Faculty of Islamic Religion; Muhammadiyah Malang University. The aim of this study is to describe about what are the difficulties that students of Arabic Education Department 2015, of Muhammadiyah Malang University had faced throughout nahwu learning. This study is useful for college students and also nahwu’s lecture of Arabic Education Department. This study is using qualitative approach with with a descriptive type of research. The object of this study are Arabic Education Department’s college students 2015. Research data were collected by interview. The result is for knowing what are the what are the difficulties that students of Arabic Education Department 2015, of Muhammadiyah Malang University had faced throughout nahwu learning. This study deviding in two factors, 1) internal wich are physiological factor and psychological factors. The first factor is physiological factor, the students felt disturbed with the schedule of nahwu courses, that held on the evening, because of they were tired, it was decreasing study motivation. The second is psychological factor,wich the students do not have knowledge from previous study period, because of that it makes the difficulty to learn. 2) External that divided in to two: social and non-social. First is social, student’s neighborhood didn’t give enough support for student to do the implementation of the subject. Second is non-social students have difficulty due to differences in clauses between Arabic and Indonesian, verbs (verbs) and objects in Arabic can be separated by words or sentences, whereas in Indonesian objects always stick directly with predicates, in Arabic mubtada 'and khabar can be separated by words or even sentences and mubtada 'can be ismul isyārah and khabar can be syibhul sum.
