This research is an Empires study research that titled” the contribution effect of motorcycle tax toward increasing genuine area income in the East Java.” The aims of this research are; to know how the effect of motorcycle tax toward the increasing genuine area income in the East Java does, and to know how contribution of motorcycle tax toward the increasing genuine area income in the East Java does. In this research, the writer takes two hypotheses that are; the tax of motorcycle has positive effect toward the increasing genuine area income, and the tax of motorcycle has high contribution toward the increasing genuine area income. The result of the research that was done, based on from determination coefficients the number R2 is 0,815, it means that 81, 5% variable of genuine area income will be influenced by free variable, that is motorcycle vehicle, whereas the rest of it 18, 5% variable of the genuine area income will be influenced by another variables that are not included in this research. Based on the result of testing hypothesis is gotten that t result is 5,944 and t table is 0.05,8. So the contribution of motorcycle tax is influenced toward the genuine area income in the East Java. The result of contribution analysis of motorcycle tax toward genuine area income for 1997-2006 the rate of contribution is 38, 91%. The summary from this research is there is positive significant effect between contributions of motorcycle tax toward the increasing genuine area income; it means that if the tax of motorcycle is increased, the genuine area income will increase.
