Abstract

West Bali National Park is a nature conservation area which has diverse vegetation, especially in the area of Menjangan Island where there are terrestrial ecosystems and marine ecosystems. Terrestrial ecosystem includes monsoon forest, savanna and coastal forests. Information and the study of diversity of plant species in Menjangan Island West Bali National Park is still a lot that identifies thoroughly and still lack of data concerning vegetation analysis. Therefore the need for research on the analysis of vegetation plant which can later be used as a source of data or information on Menjangan Island neighborhood of West Bali National Park. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of plants and the importance value index, species diversity index, type Wealth Index and Evenness Index forest vegetation in the area of Menjangan Island West Bali National Park. The data collection method using transect method with IS 1%, plot size for seedling 2x2, 5x5's stake, 10x10 for the pole, and 20x20 for the trees. Vegetation Analysis Results Importance Value Index tree level at which coastal forest ecosystemsAcacia leucophloea (Roxb) Willd amounted to 107.63%, while the savannah with a peak of 172.33% IVI namely Acacia leucophloea (Roxb), and lowland forests, namely Acacia leucophloea (Roxb) with an IVI of 48.78%. Vegetation poles in coastal forest ecosystemsPemphis acidula Forst at 94.85% While for savanna Azadirachta indica A. Juss amounted to 106.49% and lowland forests by IVI of 68.34% that Schoutenia ovata Korth. Vegetation saplings on coastal forest ecosystems are Ceriops tagal (Pers) CBRob with an IVI of 86.09%, while for the highest IVI savannahs of 105.75% in Azadirachta indica A. Juss, and the lowland forests are Schoutenia ovata Korth with IVI 35.95%. Vegetation or plant seedlings under the coastal forest and savanna are on Saccharum spontaneum Linnaeus with INP gained 30.04% and 67.77%, while for lowland forests are Rauvolfia serpentina (L) Benth 60.42%. IVI shows that the state of vegetation are good and there are some species of trees that dominate this case because the state of forests are natural forests that grow there are the dominant and depressed. The diversity of plants in the Area Index Menjangan Island West Bali National Park fall into the category of being the lowland forests where the obtained result of 2.65. Species richness index gained 5.24 results which indicate that the species richness is high in coastal forests.Evenness index result in uneven category for species evenness index values are in the value of 1.61.
