In usage of production engines which is part of system, can experience damage or failure with time which cannot be ascertained, so that reliability from engine experiences derivation. To increase again reliability from the engine is required existence of keeping process. Intention of this research is obtain keeping time interval of engine for replacement of optimal stall component at mahine of Intermediate Carrier I, to lessen component replacement cost and increases reliability at mahine of Intermediate Carrier I. To determine optimal replacement interval can apply replacement method of prevention (age replacement) to determine function of probability compact, reliability, damage speed, MTTF, MTTR, MTTDT, causing can determine replacement of optimal component with total cost which low keeping by using software matchad. With this model has been determined keeping interval for replacement to critical component that is Pen Rantai that is 11 days with level of reliability of engine 0,768 so that there is cost-saving equal to Rp 152.872.283,5 with C(tp) old Rp. 167.163.192,6 and C(tp) Rp has just 14.290.909,09 and Cakar Carrier 11 days with level of reliability of engine 0,833 so that in a period of grind period the year 2007 earning cost-saving Rp. 112.200.650,1 with C(tp) old Rp. 120.205.441,1 and C(tp) has just Rp. 8.005.090,90.
