Abstract

This research was conducted on September 2007 in Nutrition Animal Husbandry laboratory University Muhammadiyah of Malang and in Nutrition laboratory in University of Brawijaya Malang. This research porpused to know the digestion of Dry Matter (DM) and Organic Matter (OM) of paddy strow with in vitro technique with add some probiotic. The materials using-using in this research are paddy strow, probiotic which are consist of EM4, Starbio, Biofeed, the liquid of rumen and the liquid of buffer. The instrumen in this research are a set of tool invitro proses, a set of tool to proksimat DM and OM analysis. The methods are experiment method with four treafrnent which each treatment repead three times. The planning of experiment are the random planning which is repead three times. The variabel are digestion of dry matter and organic matter. The data than analysis with variasi analysis. To know differences between each treatment continued with use BNT test. From the research found thet probiotic has more strong effect to the digestion of dry matter than to the disectation of oeganic matter. The treatment P3 (paddy strow + biofeed) has point 67,039 as the higest point. From the research advice to continued the experiment with giving some level of probiotic to know in what level can give the best point.
