Abstract

Roads are one of the factors in the formation of sustainable areas that function as one of the needs of the community which includes improving the economic and industrial sectors. Sumedang-Sengguruh Street is one of the roads that serve as a link between the two available areas in Malang Regency. Therefore, it requires adequate facilities and infrastructure to help all activities both in the economic sector of industry and other activities. From the results of the calculation of the flexible and rigid pavement planning that has been made in this thesis can produce a flexible pavement with the composition and thickness of the lower pavement foundation (Sirtu Class A) 13 cm, upper foundation (Aggregate Class A) 20 cm, and surface layers (MS744) 7.5 cm. It is also known that the flexible pavement cost budget plan for the next 10 years plan life is Rp 11,623,352,000.00 (eleven billion six hundred twenty three million three hundred fifty-two thousand rupiah). While the calculation of rigid pavement produced K-350 concrete plate thickness and pavement thickness 18,75 cm thick, dowel (ruji): Ø25 mm, length 450 mm and distance 300 mm, longitudinal and transverse reinforcement M8-250 mm. The planned budget for rigid pavement costs for the next 20 years of planning is Rp. 13.535.559.000,00.with maintenance cost for flexible pavement Rp 7.710.325.559,61 and rigid pavement Rp 8.335.162.532,08.
