Abstract

Educational games are very interesting to be developed. There are several advantages of educational games compared to conventional educational methods. One of the main advantages of game success is the visualization of real problems, games can be made to help educate children in brain teasers and think of several strategic or ways to solve a problem. The Massnet Institute of Technology (MIT) succeeded in proving that the game is very useful for improving logic and player understanding of a problem through a game project called Scratch. Based on the results of previous studies, there is no doubt that educational games can support the educational process. Educational games excel in a few aspects when compared to conventional learning methods. One of the significant advantages is the existence of animas that can improve memory so that children can store subject matter in a longer time compared to conventional teaching methods. The existence of mobile phones, the internet, computers and other electronic devices, provides a large CD. Games have become one of the most effective medias used as media for the education of children. At the development of the game that will be locked using a GDLC method consisting of eight phases between other things: Initiation, Pre-Production, Production, Testing, and Beta. Built-in game was tested on respondents recruited by 30 people with a range of 8-12 years. From the results of the test related to Playtesting and Learning, it was concluded that Legend of Prince Antasari had enough good Playtesting to provide positive player experience to players from Challenge, Feedback, Response to Control, and Control. And Legend of Prince Antasari is quite able to provide new interactive learning media choices compared to confessional learning.
