Abstract

PT. Kaltim Prima Coal is one of the mining company that expanding continously their insfrastructures as a step to increase its coal production. The location of the company in Bengalon, East Kutai, East Kalimantan, with the characteristics of a mining area that has many rivers so needed a bridge to access the vihicle traffic of the mining. The bridge will be built to traverse the Lembak River in the mining area of PT. Kaltim Prima Coal, with a bridge length of 30 meters and a width of 12 meters, and uses an I-Hybrid cross section as the main girder and will work with concrete plate to receive load in a bridge (Composite system). I-Hybrid cross-sectional dimensions used are 1800x600 (mm) combined profile T800x600x18x30 (mm) Fy = 290 Mpa and profile T1000x600x20x32 (mm) Fy = 410 Mpa, with a concrete plate thickness of 250 mm F'c = 30 Mpa, which has a value of Ø Mn = 2331.41 Tons.m > Mu = 1787,58 Ton.m, and Ø Vn = 343.32 Ton > Vu = 179,26 Ton. The lateral stiffener of the bridge uses an IWF profile of 800x450x9x18 (mm), a shear connector using Ø25 mm shear stud, for connections using Ø36 mm (A490) bolts and Ø24 mm (A325) bolts, and for bridge support using elastomer rubber bearing 600x700x130 (mm) with the plate contains 6 pieces 5 mm thick.
