Abstract

Security issues are second or even last in matters that are considered important and the security of the information system that is built is not guaranteed. Some important things that need to be considered in web security and become a problem that is full of vulnerabilities is login. This problem can be overcome by using cryptographic algorithms in web-based applications, one of which uses the RSA algorithm. The level of security of the standard RSA algorithm has security holes in public or private keys originating from the input of 2 primes during key generation. Several studies have been conducted to improve the security of the login system, but the results of these studies only test the performance of an algorithm and do not test the security level of an algorithm. Several studies have been conducted to test the level of security RSA security level can also be solved. These problems can be overcome by using Quantum cryptography which is a discovery in the field of cryptography that can help with key distribution problems. The advantage of quantum cryptography lies in the uncertainty of Heisenberg who applies the principles of mechanics. The results of performance tests for key generation, encryption, decryption with character lengths ranging from 3 to 13 characters can only be used to input a username. Improvised performance using standard RSA is better than RSA improvisation with cryptographic quantum but the level of security using fermat factorization shows that the RSA improvised algorithm with Quantum kroptography is better than the RSA algorithm.
