Abstract

Al-Quranic learning is an attempt to learn the Quran to students with interrrelated components, so that students can read, write, and understand the meaning of the Quran textually and contextually, and the students can practice it in everyday life. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of al-Quranic learning in Student Boarding School of Firdaus Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach and case study research with techniques of data collecting on interviews, direct observations, participant observation, documentation and physical devices. The result of this study indicates that: 1) Al-Quranic learning planning in the form of syllabus and RPP (learning implementation plans) but has not been documented; 2) the learning implementation consist of opening activities, main activities and closing activities. The material is sourced in a guidebook prepared by the caregiver with the teacher. Selection of approaches, strategies, methods and medias in learning the Quran based on the direction of the caregiver, so that, learning purposes can be achieved optimally; and 3) evaluation of Quranic learning in Student Boarding School of Firdaus consist of evaluation of the learning program, evaluation of the learning process, and evaluation of learning outcomes.
