Abstract

This research is motivated by the time of the Village Law No. 6 of 2014, villages are required to be independent and strengthen their own finances through the use of wealth owned by the village. In this case, the Kemantren Village has abundant potential to be developed. Therefore, it is necessary to map village potentials to identify, identify the problems of each existing potential, and explore potentials that have not been utilized or that have been utilized but are not yet optimal. The results of the mapping of village potentials will be known where the village potential has been developed and generate income, so that it can be maximized through future plans. This type of research used in this research is descriptive using qualitative analysis data. While the data collection techniques use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theory of the process of mapping from Intan Permanasari to harmonize the stages of mapping the potential of the village that the writer did in the Kemantren Village, Paciran Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The results showed that there were several village potentials that had not been utilized by the Kemantren Village Government, including: the beauty of natural resources namely the sea, the treasury of the Gunung Dono village, and boat moorings. So it needs to be followed up to be used as a supporter of genuine village income and can lift the economy of the residents of the Kemantren Village.
