Abstract

The development of web and internet technology that is currently available allows one to make the desired website easier. Quite a number of websites are formed each year. These various websites are trying to become the most popular and most searched sites on the internet, especially in search engines. One method that can be used to achieve this is by applying the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) method. SEO methods can be broadly classified into two categories, On-page and Off-page SEO. On-page SEO method is an arrangement of SEO methods that are applied directly on the website itself (internal), while Off-page SEO is an optimization of websites from outside (external). In this study the author tries to conduct a study of the analysis of the effectiveness of the On-page and Off-page methods on SEO with the aim of both methods being able to obtain information as to how far the method can give impact and influence on the website. Then which method is first implemented on the website between the On-page or Off-page SEO method. Implementation is carried out on the bahankaoskuh.com website for the On-page SEO and website reviewtas.com methods for the Off-page SEO method, both pure websites only use their respective methods. With the application of the SEO method, it has an effect on both websites from increasing visitors and the influence on Google search engines that the influence that occurs on the reviewtas.com website gets Google indexing faster compared to the bahankaoskuh.com website. Reviewtas.com website has a larger percentage easily found on Google search engines and social media than on the Bahankaoskuh.com website, while the Bahankaoskuh.com website has a higher percentage of interest and page load speed than the website ReviewTas.com.
