Abstract

Education purposes has a certain characteristic, in communicative teaching learning we will increase our knowledge about something new which make us master it. Curriculum based competence is a curriculum that emphasize in ability to do assignment with a specific performasi Curriculum based competence strive for the quality and professional teacher to Increase the quality of education. In motivation, teacher leader must be able to motivate the student in order to make themintresting in teaching learning. According to background, research problem in this thesis is: how is the teacher application the persuasive communication to motivate the student in facing Curriculums based competence. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of persuasive communication by teacher leader to emerge student learning motivation within Curriculums based competence. Persuasive communication is a communication process inter persona where is the communicator used symbol to influence the receiver (Effendy, 2002;79). According to Joseph A. Illardo Persuasive communication is a process communication to change belief, behavior, purposes or people attitude used a verbal or a good words (Effendy, 1992;119). Persuasive communication is a communication which influence cultured communication (Sunarjo, 1992;32). According to Edwin P. Betting Hause, to make a persuasive communication, it must have a conscious to change the attitude (Effendy, 2002;80). This research used qualitative research design with perspective emic, it means the data must be describe based on expression, language, the way of thinking and a view of research subject. The researcher used Purposive sampling; it means sample take based on the specific consideration. Data collection in this research used interview and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction, presentation, and verification. The absolute data used triangulation. The finding of this research, in application of persuasive communication to emerge the motivation of the students, teacher leader at SMAN 3 Pamekasan are made a lesson plan includes (material, study program, learning purposes, teaching­learning process, used communicative language ). The ability of the student, as a teacher must give the same instruction to the low andhigh student, in order to prevent social conflict among the student. In this research, suggested to teacher leader to stand the strategies of persuasive communication that already applied and effective.
