Abstract

Kailan (Brassica oleraceae) is a type of vegetable that is included in the dicotyledonous class. In this research the fertilizer used is paitan liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure. Paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) is an annual weed that is suitable for use as a source of nutrients for plants. Chicken manure is organic fertilizer derived from animal manure in the form of solids (faces) mixed with food scraps, or urine (urine). This research uses factorial randomized block design (RBD) using 2 factors and repeated 3 times. Where the first factor is POC Paitan dose with code (C), consisting of 4 levels, namely: c0 = without treatment, c1 = 6 ml / tan, c2 = 8 ml / tan c3 = 10 ml / tan. The second factor is the dose of chicken manure with code (K), which consists of 4 levels, namely: k0 = without treatment, k1 = 10 tons / ha (4.5 g / tan), K2 = 15 tons / ha (6.8 g / tan), k3 = 20 tons / ha (9 g / tan). So that the total treatment is 16 treatments. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications. Observation parameters used included plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), wet weight of plants per plant (g), chlorophyll content (unit), stem diameter ( cm) and the root wet weight (g). Interaction occurs between paitan liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure on all kailan plant growth. 8 ml paitan liquid organic fertilizer / plant + 9 g chicken manure / plant affect the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, chlorophyll content, plant wet weight per plant, stem diameter and root wet weight. The administration of 8 ml / tan paitan liquid oragnik fertilizer + 9 g chicken manure / plant tends to give a higher yield on the chlorophyll content.
