Abstract

The research was carried out for 3 months, aiming to determine the effectiveness of bawang putih extract as a vegetable pesticide compared to synthetic pesticides in controlling late blight caused by fungus colectriticum gleosporindes Penz. The tools used are scales, erlenmeyer, sprayers, small buckets, stirrers, poly bags, and hoes. By using a randomized orthogonal contrast group design with 3 factors including compared with the control of synthetic pesticides. With 3 replications, the parameters observed were attack intensity, plant height, number of leaves, dry weight, wet weight. In getting the results that vegetable pesticides garlic extract can suppress the growth of atracnose in the onion plant with various combinations of concentrations and doses compared to synthetic pesticides, vegetable pesticides are less effective, but more environmentally friendly a concentration of 25% , 50%, 75%, a dose of 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, compared with the control of synthetic pesticides. With 3 replications, the parameters observed were attack intensity, plant height, number of leaves, dry weight, wet weight. In getting the results that vegetable pesticides garlic extract can suppress the growth of atracnose in the onion plant with various combinations of concentrations and doses compared to synthetic pesticides, vegetable pesticides are less effective, but more environmentally friendly.
