Abstract

This study examines the legal awareness of Sabilillah Mosque cooperative Malang which as the manager of Money Waqf on the rules of money Wakaf in Indonesia's positive law. During this time many managers of Waqf money who did not obey the regulations stipulated in the management of money Waqf are the one of the mosque cooperative Sabilillah. Therefore, with the concept of legal consciousness, which has four indicators namely the knowledge of law, understanding of law, attitude of law, and behavior of law can examine how high the level of legal awareness of the cooperative. The research methods used are sociological research. This means that the author uses primary data in the field, namely in the Sabilillah Mosque cooperative. The results of research obtained is that the awareness of the law of Masjid Sabilillah mosque only reach the level of knowledge and understanding of the law. While the legal attitude and behavior of the cooperative is very low. Therefore the author concluded that the level of legal consciousness of Sabilillah Mosque cooperative is low.
