Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude mediation on the relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being in students. The subjects in this study were 500 students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) with Accidental Sampling Techniques. The research instruments used were, Ryff Scales of Psychological Well-Being, Religiosity Scale (GQ-6) scale. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is Mediated Multi Regression. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between religiosity and well-being, amounting to (β = -0.007; p = 0.089), there was a relationship between religiosity and gratitude (β = 0.050; p = 0.000), and there was a significant relationship between gratitude and well-being psychological (β = 0.025; p = 0.000), gratitude cannot act as mediation in the relationship of religiosity with psychological well-being
