Abstract

Islamic Religious Education Learning really needs to be taught to students or students to instill knowledge and knowledge for the achievement of a perfect human being, namely success in the world and the hereafter. And of course the delivery of learning to students is pursued through several models so that learning orientation is achieved as expected. Therefore, to achieve the orientation of Islamic religious education learning one of them teachers can apply it through the discovery model which in this study was applied in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. This study aims to determine and describe the learning process through discovery models and the impact of achievement for students in Muhammadiyah 1 High School Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang (class XII-MIPA). This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang on 4-11 March 2019. This research used data collection techniques, namely the observation method and the method of documentation study. Data analysis techniques in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data of this study uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that, Islamic Education Learning through discovery models in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang had a positive impact on student achievement.
