Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effect of the use of organic mulch sheet on growth and yield of crop production broccoli (Brassica olerace var. Italica) This study has been conducted on integrated land Faculty of Agriculture and Livestock Muhammadiyah University of Malang. This study was conducted over three months, from August to October 2018. The study was conducted usingThe experimental design used in this research is the design of Completely Mixed (RKLT) or Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) arranged as factorial with 1 factor that is different types of mulch. By Comparing, M0 (without mulch), Plastic Mulch Black Silver, M2 (Hyacinth 40%: coconut fiber 60%), M3 (Hyacinth 50%: coconut fiber 50%), M4 (Hyacinth 60%: The fibers 40 %), M5 (hyacinth 70%: 30% coconut fiber, M6 (hyacinth 80%: 20% coconut fiber). The results of the study treatment use of mulch made from the manufacture of organic mulch sheet using water hyacinth and coconut husks, observations diameter of the flower show organic mulch over signifigan compared with MPHP or with organic mulch to the treatment of organic others others on treatment M4 (hyacinth 60: coir 40 ) obtained averages a high of 13.53 a, heavy interest showing the highest value in the treatment M2 (hyacinth 40: fibers kelapa60) rereta highest value 320.66 a, high interest showed the highest value in the treatment of M4 (hyacinth 60: coconut fibers 40) mean the highest value 13.44 a.
