Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the factors that influence the customer's decision to save in a Syariah Bank. In this study the data used is primary data by giving questionnaires to students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang who save in Islamic banks with an unknown population. The sample in this study were 120 respondents, in this method of determining the sample the authors used the methods of Djarwanto and Subagyo. The type of data used in this study consists of primary data through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis uses factor analysis with the help of SPSS version 21.0 for windows and Microsoft Office Excel computer software. The research results show that factor analysis produces 4 formed factors that can influence the customer's decision process to save at a Sharia Bank. The factors formed are, price and process factors, location and person factors, physical evidence factors, and product and promotion factors. Price and process factors are the dominant factors in influencing a customer's decision to save at a Sharia Bank because they have the highest correlation value.
