Abstract

An organization or company in order to survive in a competitive business environment must continuously make changes to its business processes that are adjusted to the development of market conditions. Because of this, many business people have tried to optimize their business processes by utilizing information technology-based systems including websites. This is also done by PT. Kangmas Global Travelindo which is engaged in the travel agency. The company already has a website that is used as a company profile website and publishes tour packages. Along with the development, the company experienced an increase in its business processes. The company owner decides to develop a new website system that is expected to meet the increased business needs. With this problem, the system development method used is the Framework for Application System Thinking (FAST) method. The FAST method has advantages in analyzing the problems faced before proceeding to the design and implementation phase. In this study, problem analysis in the initial phase used cause-effect analysis techniques to explore problems or problems and causes and effects. The results of the analysis are used as a reference in functional requirements analysis, system modeling design and construction of website system creation. The results of this study are a website that has been tested with blackbox testing techniques that are suitable for functional requirements based on problem analysis and system modeling designs in the previous phase.
