Abstract

Coklat Klasik is a business in the culinary field with a focus on processing chocolate ingredients. The management system of the Classic Chocolate supply chain began with the Chocolate Classic factory located in the city of Kediri. The city of Kediri was chosen to set up a factory because the owners of the Classic Chocolate company came from the City of Kediri and the raw materials were closer to reducing shipping costs. The factory gets the main raw material from the city of Blitar, there are two main suppliers that supply it. In this Coklat Klasik company there has not been a planning and scheduling of well-coordinated product distribution activities. This study aims to plan scheduling of product distribution activities to be well coordinated with minimal distribution costs and optimal number of shipments using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. Demand forecasting is done using the Least Square method to estimate the product requirements for the following month. In this method using a comparison technique using lotsize determination. There are 2 lotsize determination methods used, namely the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) method. The results of this study indicate that the calculation using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method of determining the lotsize method of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) can schedule and estimate the needs of the company so that the company does not experience excess or lack of products with minimum costs.
