INTERAKSI SOSIAL ANTARA KELOMPOK AGAMA HINDU DAN ISLAM DALAM MENJAGA INTEGRASI SOSIAL (Studi di Desa Banyubiru, Kecamatan Negara, Kabupaten Jembrana)

Humans are social creatures, who will communicate and interact with others
each other with the aim of building a mutually beneficial relationship. In
Communicating and establishing relationships certainly have interests, goals and needs
different. Indonesia is known as a heterogeneous country, therefore to maintain values
National unity and unity can be done by understanding, recognizing and
adapting to various differences, including internal differences
adhere to religion. Sensitivity in interreligious communication can occur if there is a truth claim
addressed by every religious group for its beliefs without regard to religion or
other beliefs around him. This is the urgency of the message exchange or interaction process
in the heterogeneity of community life.
Various issues of interaction between religious groups have dominated in this country. However,
inversely proportional to the conditions and situation that occurred in Banyubiru Village, Negara District,
Jembrana Regency. Currently, the people in the village can live peacefully and side by side,
even though they come from different religious backgrounds. Integration of Hinduism and Islam is possible
seen during religious events or big days of each religion such as society
inviting each other to several series of religious events. The purpose of
This research is to determine the process of interaction between religious groups in maintaining integration
social based on supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses an approach
qualitative with data collection techniques such as conducting in-depth interviews, observation
field and documentation as well as checking the validity of the data is carried out by triangulation
source.
The results of this research indicate that the interaction process of the two religious groups
Hinduism and Islam are based on these three aspects of communication where messages and meanings are exchanged
from individual to individual that occurs every day can form a pattern of interaction
namely Perception, Cooperation and Tolerance. These three patterns are obtained from the communication process
interpersonal with the positive perception or stigma of each individual from both
religious groups in viewing or assessing opposition religious groups. The interaction process
has been found to lead to a positive scale which is influenced by supporting factors namely
equality, heterogeneity, social dependence, and agreement on values ​​and norms. Factor
Barriers were not found in the interaction process with the aim of social integration in both
group.
