Abstract

Test of the Effectiveness of Several Concentrations of Liquid Inorganic Fertilizer on Corn Crop Estimates and Yields (Zea mays L) Vita Melisa Riska (1), Dr. Drs. Untung Santosso M, Si. (2), Dr. Drs. SUMMARY Corn is one of the annual crops that are cultivated in Indonesia among other food crops because corn contains carbohydrates high enough to meet daily needs. However, corn production in Indonesia in the last five years increased, in 2017 corn production amounted to 28,924,015 tons in 2018 corn production amounted to 30,055,623 tons this increased an increase of 3.91% (Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia). Efforts to increase maize production in order to make corn self-sufficiency have been launched by the government since 2007. To increase the program, the government is providing intensive assistance to farmers, which are subsidizing fertilizer, seeds and fiscal policy (Wikrama. 2009). This study aims to determine the importance of cait inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of corn plants and to determine the best concentration of liquid inorganic fertilizers to increase the growth and yield of corn plants. This study uses a simple randomized block design method, with setting A being control without the aid of fertilizer, handling B liquid NPK 3 ml / l, handling C liquid NPK 4 ml / l, handling D liquid NPK 5 m / l, treatment E liquid NPK 6 ml / l, liquid NPK treatment 7 ml / l, liquid NPK treatment 8 ml / l. By adding an additional fertilizer consisting of Urea 300 kg / ha, Sp-36 50 kg / ha in each trial plot, analyzed using ANOVA followed by a 5% DMRT test. Application of liquid inorganic fertilizer to plant growth and corn yields. This is supported by the growth response of maize parameters, plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, plant dry weight, Leaf Area Index (ILD), Plant Growth Rate (LTT), Net Assimilation Rate (LAB) and corn yields produce weights dried cobs. Giving the concentration of liquid inorganic fertilizer as much as 5 ml / l per application is not different from the administration of other liquid inorganic fertilizers in increasing the growth and yield of corn plants
