Abstract

The research objective is to describe the leadership style, work motivation and employee performance at KPH Perhutani Malang, analyze the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on performance to know the influence of leadership style and work motivation partially on employee performance at Perhutani Malang KPH and to know the influence of leadership style and work motivation in work simultaneous performance of Malang Perhutani KPH employees. The population in this study were all Perhutani KPH employees in Malang, totaling 417 employees, using the Slovin formula with a total sample size of 81 respondents. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, and documentation. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the leadership style applied at the Perhutani KPH Malang is included in the moderate category, which means that the leadership style that is applied is worker oriented and also production oriented. Work motivation and performance of employees of Perhutani KPH Malang are included in the high category. The results of the study found that leadership style and work motivation simultaneously and partially had a significant effect on the performance of employees of FMU Perhutani Malang.
