Abstract

The road from Pacet to Cangar is located in Pacet sub-district, Mojokerto district. This road connects between Mojokerto district and the city of Batu. The crowded condition, road damage, steep road terrain, and narrow path, make this road does not meet the safety and comfort standards. Based on the total volume of daily traffic in 2016 reached 4284 vehicles/day. To improve the safety and comfort standards, the road needs to be widened, and the pavement layers to be thickened. The result of the plan and road calculation on 2716 km shows that the thick of overlay layers is 5 cm. The widened or new road using flexible pavement shows the thick of pavement layer of Asphalt Concrete-Wearing course/ AC- WC by 5 cm, Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course/AC-BC by 6 cm, Asphalt Concrete-Base/AC-Base by 8 cm, Aggregate Bound Class A by 30 cm, Aggregate Bound Class B by 15 cm, and soil stabilized layers with cement by 22 cm. The budget plan of overlay and widened road using flexible pavement which can last up to 20 years is Rp.7,034,740,870,00 (seven billion thirty-four thousand seven hundred forty thousand eight hundred seventy).
