Interesting phenomenon emerged in the community related issues at least the women who managed to occupy the peak of his career where along with the times that marked the progress in the field of education and technology, and opening wider opportunities for women to career andachievement. Apparently this is not enough to make most women are freed from the social norms of the view that women should focus on domestic case only (domestic affairs).This social norm, making the success of women both in education and employment will lead to a conflict that is the dilemma between a picture of himself that has the potential and opportunity to achieve success, and the expectations of their social environment. This condition, known as the fear of success, which is a psychological barrier that makes a woman less able to perform, especially in a competitive situation with a man. Associated with this phenomenon, this research aims to find a picture fear of success on the women who work and factors factors that cause fear of success among women who work. Research approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods used were semistructured interviews. Test the validity of data using Triangulation techniques to check the truth of the source of the data that has been obtained from research subjects in a way also to ask their husbands or partners subject directly. Subject of this research are three women worked with ages between 29 to 45 years and has been married and have kids. Based on our research, it is known that the three subjects in the study had loss of feminity criteria (fear of loss of femininity), a rejection of social criteria (Fear of social rejection) and a loss of social criteria for self esteem (fear of loss of social respect as a woman). Thus, it can be concluded that all three subjects experienced fear of success. The factors that cause research subjects experienced fear of success is the result of all three studies are caused by internal factors (ie, fear of negative consequences caused by a high position in career) and also by external factors (ie not family environment support).
