Aprilianto, Riyo. 2019. An Analysis of Code Mixing Used by #anakjaksel Post on Twitter. Thesis. English Language Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah Malang University, Advisors: (1) Dra. Erly Wahyuni, M.Si (2) Adityo, S.S, MA This study focused on Code Mixing found and the type that used by #anakjaksel post on Twitter. The purposes of this research are (1) to know the code mixing found among #anakjaksel post on Twitter and (2) to describe the type of code mixing found among #anakjaksel post on Twitter. This research was a qualitative research design because the writer is easier to present the result of the collected data and it was intended to know the code mixing and the type on code mixing found by #anakjaksel post on Twitter. In addition, the instrument that used in this research is the researcher. The result of this research showed that the code mixing on the post of #anakjaksel have many expressions such as sad, angry, jealous and many more expressions. The code mixing that used in the result are insertion pattern, alternation pattern, and congruent lexicalization. The most dominant code mixing here is congruent lexicalization, because the user of #anakjaksel inserted randomly code in the sentence. Moreover, the user of #anakjaksel just put some words that common used by the other #anakjaksel user, such as: basically, literally, and which is. That words almost constantly exist in the post that used #anakjaksel.
