Abstract

Growth this time have multifarious kinds of velg model circulating marketing, To the number of marketing velg having variation on course its bolt hole but not yet been known by strength of the velg. Velg represent one of the component of automotif which its elementary materials is almunium mixture. This component at the site used to accept burden of statik and of dynamic which big enough. Velg as vehicle component getting dynamic burden ( repeatedly), experiencing of damage of tired effect and will emerge after the component used the function. Purposes of writing of this final duty is to compare and know maximal tension value that happened at bolt hole of velg with changing bolt hole position which have there is so that find correct bolt hole position, because writer feel what is location of bolt hole which have there is this time have precisely because heedless many people of tension value that happened at bolt hole of velg so that can result cart hence writer will the analysis by using version ansys software 8.0 and chosen element type of tetrahedral solid stuktural that is element of solid 92, where one element there are ten node, having three degree of freedom (dof). Analysis having taken steps, writer get conclusion that velg owning bolt hole which [is] its diametrical position to crossbar (prop) have maximum tension value of smallest compared to velg which is its bolt hole position is not diametrical to crossbar (prop).
