Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Jusuf Kalla governance has an important program that is to fight against corruption in Indonesia. However, until pass 100day leadership program of SBY JK, law maintenance to corruption cases is still far away from the expectation. In the last 2006, attorneygeneral, Abdul Rahman Saleh, back to rise up corruption fight issue by involving television media, Java Post, as one of critical media that reveal a set of antipathy opinion to the policy. But on August 2nd, 2006, Java post precisely display crossing discourse, even some similar issues is partial to government policy that fills headline for two days, and it is covered as special report on August 7th, 2006. Where the statement of DPR Chief, Agung Laksono, that disagree with the plan of attorneygeneral chief is slipped away from announcement, while the other opinion from two member of DPR commission agreeing on the attorneygeneral chief action are described as one of full support from parliament. This is one of announcement portion awkward that become the researcher reason to be more understand about Java post media discourse through critical view, that is find out some ideology behind news text correspond to power, that is control to text. Concept and theory used in this research is directed to Louis Altrusser’s perspective suggesting that media is part of country power instrument, and to Antonio Gramsci’s perspective suggesting that media as space where various ideology is represented. This research takes position as critical paradigm. So that, theories about the taken discourse, off course, are not recognized by Michael Foucault that directing concept about discourse form as social practice. Normative theory of mass media helps the researcher in suggesting the existence and the importance of mass media in regard to press system of the state. Research method used in this research is critical discourse analysis by critical linguistic analysis approach with two discourses instrument from Roger Fowler et.al. and Theo van Leeuwen analysis model. Research scope is in the form of Java post news text on 211 August 2006 concerning the effort of corrupter face display in television by government. Data collecting technique is in the form of documentation technique by news clipping related to research object. Research result find out that Java post media discourse concerning the effort of corrupter face display in television directs on the marketing orientation form. It is one of the cautions of the lack of journalism primary essence, so that Java pos news text classified into less objective or sharp in covering any matters. It is necessary to remember that during this time newsshifting concept by media to corruption matter has involved society indirectly to not act critically to corruption behavior. Media, with all its features, forgets media function as motivator factor of politic changes occurrence. So that, media does not use its power anymore in forming society attitude to corrupter or directing society to be more criticism and care about corruption action that have damaged the country. From the research result, it can be concluded that the reality suggested by the Java post media show how government discourse is the dominant form, so that its ideological value brought byJava post as part of power form to text. Researcher suggested that the power system in the internal scope is capitalist participation still appeared. It can be proved by the previous Java Post attitude choosing to antipathy act, then it turn counterbalance by supporting attorneygeneral chief displaying the hunted corrupter in Television media.
