Abstract

This research aims to describe the manners education in SDIT Insan Permata Malang and the constraints faced in implementing manners education in the school. The study used a qualitative approach with the study subject of the principal, Waka Kesiswaan and Guru. Researchers selected SDIT Insan Permata as a research object because the school is an excellent school in Malang which implements a manners education. The manners education strategy in the school was designed by the principal and Waka curriculum and school leaders. Data collection is done through interviews, observations and documentation. While the data analysis uses a qualitative data analysis model. From this research shows that the manners education strategy in SDIT Insan Permata Malang in several ways, namely: (1) socialization of manners education through school culture, (2) to internalize manners education in Intra (learning) activities, (3 ) Emphasize the example, (4) Enter a manners education in the activities of the co-curricular, (5) There are CB subjects, (6) elaborated into the PHBI/PHBN, (6) utilizing the Quranic subjects held by USQ (the Qur'an Unit). While the slack is: (1) The roles and awareness of parents who are still lacking, (2) The lack of socialization, (3) No BK teachers, and (4) Teachers of courricular activities still from external schools.
