Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning of short letters through the implementation of the Duha prayer in congregation, describing the implementation and results of the implementation of learning short letters in Tk Islam Al Ghoniyyu Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with research subjects are students, curriculum curriculum in the field of Islamic religion, classroom teachers and Walimurid parents. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. While the data analysis uses descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: 1) memorization of short letters at Tk IsLam Al Ghoniyyu Malang was implemented through the implementation of the Dhuha prayer in school; 2) the dhuha prayer activities in congregation at Islam Al Ghoniyyu Kindergarten Malang are held every day in the morning at the beginning of the children's learning begins. 3) From the results of the implementation of learning short letters through the implementation of the Duha prayer in congregation students are able to pray properly and correctly, the children are also motivated to learn some of the short letters through the implementation of the Duha prayer in congregation. In addition, the implementation of prayer in congregation makes students more independent, responsible, time discipline and manners.
