Abstract

The teachers teaching techniques greatly affect the student’s learning motivation, especially in the classroom. If a teacher does not have good teaching techniques then the students will quickly get bored and have no motivation to learn. Most of the students didn’t interested what the teacher says when teacher only uses the lecture method in the classroom. Some researches prove by using reward and punishment the student's learning motivation will increase. The purpose of the research is to Describe the implementation of learning based on rewards and punishment in improving students' learning motivation on the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadist in MA. Bilingual Batu and to describe the results of the implementation of learning-based on reward and punishment in improving students' learning motivation on the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadist in MA. Bilingual Batu. This research would like to explore or describe about the implementation learning based on reward and punishment in improving students' learning motivation on the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadist. The location of this research is MA Bilingual Batu which is located in Jl. Pronoyudho Village Dadaprejo Junrejo Batu, Malang. The Data collection techniques are observation method, interview method, and documentation method. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative, where the data analysis used by non statistic, that is research by describing data obtained with words or sentences separated in categories to get the conclusion. The results of the research is the implementation of rewards and punishment in MA. Bilingual on the subject of Qur'an Hadist is well. The rewards that implemented are the form of praise, awards, and prizes for student who is disciplined and accomplished. The forms of punishment that applied are reprimands, supplementary assignments, memorization, and fines of material for student who commit disciplinary offenses. The result of the implementation of reward and punishment on the subject of Qur'an Hadist is the increasing student’s learning motivation in the classroom which is the increasing of student's attention while studying, the improvement of student achievement and discipline on the students.
